Salutations

Hello blog-readers, if you've found your way here. Is this still something that people do? Either way, I'm excited you're here. Let me introduce myself.

My name is Leah Heathcote-Osburn, a Kansas-born artist, performer, and professional. I'm excited to pursue my dreams of becoming a published author. I spent the majority of my life as a performer in the theatrical spaces, have acted and sang and danced in straight plays, musical theatre, and opera each, respectively. You can probably find my other site, if you're interested in seeing my work in those spaces.

I have loved reading, and by extension writing, since I was young. I found it to be cathartic - one of the only ways to sort the chaos of a busy mind. Writing made, well, my existence feel real. Maybe this is why I enjoy exploring places that are not real, fictional worlds or futures with their own unique takes on what it means to be alive.
